Avon introduces a landmark discovery to help reactivate the skin’s repair process to help women reverse the look of wrinkles: Anew Reversalist.

AN ANTI-AGEING FIRST:
A team of Avon scientists studied how the skin repairs itself to develop this anti-ageing breakthrough. When the skin is damaged; it triggers the production of a key repair molecule, Activin. Since wrinkles are actually a result of micro-injuries to the skin, Avon scientists spent several years of groundbreaking research in the study of Activin and its role in wrinkle repair. Avon scientists discovered how to activate this key repair molecule with a breakthrough new technology which Avon has called Activinol. Anew’s Activinol Technology in Anew Reversalist is formulated to boost Activin, to help reactivate skin’s natural repair process and help recreate fresh new skin and dramatically reverse the look of wrinkles.

WHAT IS ACTIVINOL TECHNOLOGY:
Avon’s US patent-pending Activinol Technology is shown to increase the production of Activin to help boost skin’s ability to repair itself and recreate fresh, new skin.
Avon is the first to use this US patent-pending complex of 2 biologically derived Phytochemicals:

Amorphophallus: Stimulates Activin Production to help trigger skin’s repair process
Sesbania: Boosts skin’s support structure to help deliver less wrinkled looking skin

The Anew Reversalist Renewal Serum helps to reactivate the skin’s repair process, helps reverse wrinkles and recreates fresh, new skin. It has a lightweight silky feel with a satiny finish.

Dramatic results:

Overnight, 75% of women felt like they had new looking skin**
In 2 weeks, the formula dramatically reduced the look of wrinkles**, improved discolorations by up to 100%* and left skin looking and feeling dramatically tighter**

Patrick Dempsey Joins Extreme Makeover

patrick dempsey greys anatomy extreme makeoverLOS ANGELES, Calif. — Patrick Dempsey is heading to “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”

This weekend, the Marshall family, one of the families set to appear on an upcoming episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” will travel to Maine, to meet the “Grey’s Anatomy” star as he hosts the Dempsey Challenge. The Dempsey Challenge raises funds for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center, which assists cancer patients and caregivers with support and education.

Patrick founded the center in 2008 in response to his mother’s multiple bouts with ovarian cancer.

Jay and Elena Marshall, and their children, including 9-year-old Cameron, who was diagnosed with leukemia, have also played a role in raising cancer awareness and raised thousands of dollars for Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.

In addition to meeting the handsome TV doc and real-life do-gooder, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is building the Marshall family a brand new home from the ground up. The family is also being sent to Walt Disney World.

Patrick “McDreamy” Dempsey will direct and star in the campaign for a new Avon men’s fragrance. (Not coincidentally, his wife has been the company’s global creative director since 2006.)

Andrea Jung, of Avon, says, “We are thrilled to partner with Patrick Dempsey – an incredibly accomplished actor who has achieved such broad appeal because of his genuine authenticity, charisma and style.

“We’re extremely impressed with both his on and off screen accomplishments, and have a shared commitment to giving back to communities in ways both big and small.”

Dempsey adds, “This is an extremely exciting opportunity for me to work with Avon – a brand I have long respected as a global powerhouse with a lot of heart and soul.”

But it won’t be the first involvement with Avon in the Dempsey household – the actor’s wife Jillian has served as the company’s global creative colour director since 2006.

This follows on the heels of an announcement that the handsome actor also recently quit smoking and open a cancer treatment center. Dempsey quit smoking prior to the launch of a new center he has funded in his town.

The actor has donated $250,000 of his own money to a new cancer centre at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.
And, as he planned to cut the ribbon on the new Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing on 31 March (08), the actor decided it was time to stop smoking.

And he’s already a fervent anti-smoker.

The 42-year-old says, “The thought of smoking now is absolutely ridiculous and I think more people have to quit smoking.

“There was a defining moment (for me); I remember being outside and I took a puff and I was like, ‘You know what, it doesn’t taste good anymore to me. This is not what I want to do, and it stopped.”
